Our box frame container doors have been developed purposely for container conversions and modifications. Made from galvanised steel and featuring a fully welded frame and sealed joints, they offer easy installation by directly welding into a shipping container wall without the need for an RHS. An increased tolerance has also been factored in to allow for movement in the container during transit, or when sat on an uneven surface.
They are made of 1.0mm galvanised steel and 1.4mm galvanised steel frames, and have a fully welded frame with sealed joints. They are simple to install into a shipping container. High density Polyurethane foam (also known as PU foam) is injected into the door leaf and frame for increased insulation and rigidity. Four stainless steel ball bearing hinges hold the leaf securely in the frame.
They are supplied as standard with a high-quality flush handle, Dormakaba lever handle, knob or panic bar. These doors are also built to last and come with weather and draught-proof seals.
