When determining door orientation we always view our doors from the outside looking in.
For our personal access doors you can choose to have the door hinged either on the left or right hand side, opening outwards (towards you) or inwards (away from you).
For our security container doors and fire escape doors you can choose to have the door hinged on the left side or right side, but the doors can only open outwards.
For our double doors, the principle is the same, but you choose the active leaf, not the hinge side. The active leaf is the door which opens first.
